This is a study with gouache paints from one of my favorite rock band, Jim and Ray from Doors circa 1970........The painting was done in 2003 and its really small.

The Doors bring me and my brother joy and have since we we kid's growing up. I want to help my brother Steve because I love him and think he is special and worth alot to help just like he helps me by taking me into his home to take care of me for my Mother since she is getting older. I love my Brother Steve Taylor of Orlando, Florida and I care about him and his family.

Since about the age of Nine or Ten I have loved listening to The Doors. I really love to hear the way Ray plays piano and keyboards because I have a passion for piano's and have always wanted to take Piano lessons since I was a child. I like to read and listen to Jim Morrison's great poetry that he was so gifted at. I really love collections of Doors stuff such as music CD's and posters as well as reading books about The Doors Rock group. I love all kinds of rock music and the artists who sang and made the Songs. Even if Ray is close to eighty years of age, to me he is like Jim He will alway's be a legend in my heart and in my eye's. He will never stop being cool. My Older Brother Steve Taylor of Orlando, Florida is how I began to know The Doors when he was a kid growing up. I love my brother as much as I love and dig The Doors books and music.
